About the Weekend
We’ll offer a variety of yoga experiences over the course of the weekend, all rooted in our strong understanding of anatomy and alignment. The schedule will include at least three regular yoga classes, one of Alex’s popular Stretch, Strengthen and Align classes, a guided meditative walk, a myofascial release / restoratives class, and an intro session to make any walk in the woods (or park or cityscape) into a whole-body exercise. Classes will be safe and challenging for all levels.
Feeling contemplative? A copy of Pema Chodron’s Practicing Peacewill be our gift to each of you when you arrive. There are tea and coffee supplies in every building to help you curl up with a book or chat over a cup of tea with your retreat community. After our evening restoratives class on Saturday night, join us for a bonfire.
Want even more yoga practice? You also have the option to purchase a private session with either Alex or Bonnie over the course of the weekend.
About Alex and BonnieWe both teach regular classes at CircleYoga and work together to coordinate the studio’s 200-hour teacher training. We both learned how to teach yoga about a decade ago at YogaWorks, in NY and LA respectively, and we’ve each built on that training to help our students create healthy, balanced bodies and minds through a thoughtful, light-hearted asana practice.
Spring is the perfect time to get out of town, visit the mountains, breathe some fresh air, eat clean healthy food, recommit to your practice… and renew yourself while you’re at it. Come join us, and enjoy all that yoga and the season have to offer!
